The double layered 100% Organic Cotton Flannel pad has a hemmed border and slits on each side so you can easily thread the straps of your Queen of the Thrones® Original Castor Oil Pack through as an extra layer to extend the life of your pack.

Your Queen of the Thrones® 100% Organic Cotton Original Pack Insert is made of unbleached, premium quality 100% organic cotton.
Your Queen of the Thrones® Original Castor Oil Pack is made with:

This cozy layer of high quality, unbleached organic cotton touches your skin with Castor Oil. - Outer layer: 100% polypropylene
'Less-mess’ layer designed to hold in natural body heat, made of the same material as food-safe containers like yogurt cups. - Straps: 100% nylon
Soft and stretchy, designed to comfortably wrap around any body size and hold your pack in place.
Queen of the Thrones® Organic Golden Castor Oil is made of 100% Organic Castor Oil (Ricinus communis) and is always:

How do I use it?
It’s a simple 2 step process:
Step 1: Place the flannel on the inside of your Queen of the Thrones® Original Castor Oil Pack and thread the strings of your pack through the slits on both sides of the insert.
Step 2: Apply 1 tbsp of Castor Oil to your abdominal area or to the centre of the insert, then place the pack over your abdominal area and tie in place.
That’s it! Wear for 1 hour daily or overnight.
Apply fresh Castor Oil with each use and replace your pack after approximately 60 uses for hygienic reasons.

Can I just drink Castor Oil or rub it on my skin?
When taken orally, Castor Oil is a stimulant laxative that can cause cramping and make you rush to go to the bathroom. Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil is for topical use only.
Simply rubbing Castor Oil on your skin and throwing an old T-shirt overtop (A.K.A. the “Lazy Castor Oil Pack”) only gives you about 50% of the benefits. Without the pack you lose out on the relaxation benefits, similar to a warm hug. The pack and the Castor Oil work synergistically together to help you feel better.
Can I just use organic bamboo or any old cloth?
ONLY use organic cotton or wool for your Castor Oil Pack! Other materials like ‘organic’ bamboo or cotton velour are highly processed with chemicals. Old clothing may be made with harmful dyes, bleach and flame retardants that you don’t want to absorb into your body.
How often should I do a Castor Oil pack?
Wear your Castor Oil Pack for 1 hour, or overnight. Most begin with 7 days straight, then continue with an ongoing practice 3-5x per week.

Is it messy?

How often do I have to replace it?
The traditional way of doing Castor Oil Packs was to use the SAME compress over and over and over. This was okay, before the industrial revolution when our environment wasn’t as toxic. We now know that the increasing environmental toxicity impacts wellness. This is why it’s important to add fresh oil every time and replace your pack after approximately 60 uses for ease of use, comfort, and sanitation.
Do I have to wash my pack?
New research from the National Institute of Health shows that even organic materials may contain traces of chemicals via transportation, packaging and warehousing. But luckily, washing is shown to significantly reduce or even eliminate these chemicals completely.
It's like when you buy produce, you always wash it first, even if it’s organic, right? You should also always wash the clothing and fabrics you place on your body.
